The sheikh mentioned three Prophetic practices for managing anger: remembering anger's origin, reciting a hadith, and staying silent. anger, control, silence, sunnah, hadith https://www.youtube.com/shorts/avi6OpZydWg
Three things from the sunnah to do when you are angry. Number one: remember the Prophet sallallahu wasallam said anger is from shaitan and shaitan was created from fire. This hadith collected by Imam Abu Dawud. Number two: whenever you're angry, say the hadith collected in Sahih Bukhari. And number three: remember that whenever you are angry, the Prophet sallallahu wasallam said stay silent, stay silent whenever you're angry. The hadith collected by Imam Ahmed. That's the best thing to do. If you have nothing good to say, don't say it, particularly when you're angry, and you may regret it or you may say things you don't mean. Give yourself time, give yourself space. Use those three things whenever you're angry.
