Family & Marriage

My future wife is insisting that I allow her to drink one last time before marriage.

No one can give permission to drink alcohol, as it is forbidden in Islam, and this is a matter between her and Allah; you should consider this insistence when deciding about the marriage. alcohol, marriage, permission, forbidden, decision, spouse https://www.youtube.com/shorts/5H13c2wWnCs
So regardless of whether you're 100% going ahead with a marriage or you're not going ahead with a marriage, it's not up to you or anybody here, whether it be her father, whether it be her mother, to give permission for somebody to drink alcohol. That's between her and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. So she has to take that upon herself. Something, you know, for you to consider in terms of whether you definitely want to go ahead with a marriage or whether it's, you know, one step too far. But drinking alcohol is something in Islam which is not allowed regardless of whoever it may be for or regardless of whatever may happen, you know, later on in terms of marriage to somebody or not.
