Can menstruating women go inside the masjid?

The sheikh explained there are two views: the majority view is that it is not permissible, while a minority view permits it if there is no concern of contamination and for a specific need. masjid, menstruation, purity, fiqh rulings, women, permissibility https://www.youtube.com/shorts/0CV9Yt71JYE
So there are two views on this. The first view is the view of the majority of the scholars of the four madhhabs, which is that it's not permissible for a female on her menstrual cycle to enter the masjid. And this is based on a hadith collected by Imam Bukhari, Imam Muslim, the hadith narrated by Imam Atiyah, where the Prophet ﷺ said that on Eid day, the females should come out, but those that are menstruating should stay away from the prayer area. Now, there is a second view, which is a minority view, but it's still a valid view nonetheless, which says that nowadays there's no concern about potential contamination of the prayer area in terms of bleeding and so on due to the sanitation products we have nowadays and clothing and so on. So if there's no concern of this, then it would be permissible. So there are two views. As I mentioned, the first view is the majority view. But if, let's say, there's a specific need that you needed to enter the masjid, you could take that second view. It is a valid view.
