How to convince your husband to pray more and be role model?

So there are two things men will respond to. Number one, it is when they feel empowered. If, for example, you say to your husband, I really love it when you lead me in Salah, can you lead me in Salah? That will really naturally encourage him to lead you in the Salah. And also, men respond to when they feel like they are the leaders of the household, that they are fulfilling their responsibility Allah has given them. So that's number one. Number two, their company. If they are in the company of others who regularly pray, that will naturally rub off on them and they will naturally pray as well. So look at his company, whether it's those who he spends time with or maybe those that he can spend time with that come to your house, for example, and they will pray naturally together. Number three, a forgotten sunnah. Regularly make dua for your spouse. This is something which is often forgotten. Keep making dua for them. If you've tried number one and number two and it's not worked, don't worry. Allah will, inshallah, open their hearts. But you do your part, you tie your camel, make dua for them and leave the rest to Allah.
