A khula is when a wife asks for divorce and the husband agrees. So if the husband does not agree, then there's no khula. So they would still have been married in the first place. So if now she wants to take, you know, she wants to get back together, then they weren't apart in the first place because a khula never took place. The conditions for a khula, the wife has to initiate it, but also the husband has to agree. If the husband does not agree, then Islamically they're still married. Of course, unless something else happened, they went to sharia council or something along those lines and it was nullified. But other than that, they would still be married Islamically.
