Talaq during extreme anger that removes consciousness may be an exception, but it is rare and each case requires detailed individual assessment by a qualified scholar. talaq, divorce, anger, fiqh ruling, marital dispute, scholar consultation https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JzA2Y1dbwog
The general principle is that when somebody says talaq, this counts as a talaq. There are certain exceptions and one of the exceptions is if there is extreme anger to the degree that the person has no consciousness of what they are saying, in terms of no thought process in what they are saying whatsoever. Now this is an exception and it's not a common exception either because the degree of anger you need to have reached to get that particular level is extremely high. So what I would always suggest, any of these sensitive issues, they need to be looked into in detail, exactly what happened, exactly what was said, the context of what was said before somebody can give a specific ruling. And it would need to be heard from both sides, both from your side and from your husband's side, one's intention and so on. So I would definitely suggest contacting your local masjid, your local scholar or Islamic Sharia council so they can give you an individual ruling for your particular case.
