The sheikh explained that every dua is recorded as a good deed, that a delay may be for protection or a greater reward, and gave the example of Prophet Ibrahim's dua being answered centuries later. dua, patience, divine wisdom, reward, good deeds, disappointment https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Mrfy7vmVmwM
So number one: every single time you make dua, that will be written down by the angel on your right shoulder and will always be in your good deeds until the day of judgment. So even if you don't see it now, remember that an angel has written it down and it will always be in your book of good deeds. Number two: if Allah doesn't grant you that dua now in this life, it may be that Allah is saving you from a greater harm, or you will see the reward in the akhirah. Either way, you're not going to lose by making dua. Number three: remember that sometimes duas are not answered straight away. The prophet Ibrahim alayhi salam he made dua that Allah sends another prophet after him that will be amongst from amongst his own people, meaning he'll be living with them and from that same lineage. That dua was answered hundreds of years later when the prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam was sent. So if this is the dua of the prophet Ibrahim, somebody who's close to Allah, and his dua was not answered until hundreds of years later, then how about our own dua? As we should never be hasty but keep.
