How to ask Allah to give you a job when you've been trying for a year?

Your job is part of your rizq, so when you make dua, what you want to say is 'O Allah, you are Ar-Razzaq.' Ar-Razzaq is the name of Allah, as He says in the Quran 'وَلِلَّهِ الْأَسْمَىٰ الْحُسْنَ فَادْعُوهُ بِهَا' 'That He is the most beautiful of names, call upon Him by these names.' So when you use the relevant name in your dua, it increases the likelihood of your dua being accepted. So you say 'O Allah, you are Ar-Razzaq, the one that provides, provide for me the best job in this life and the next.'
