Can men wear silk ties?

The vast majority of ties nowadays are synthetic silk. So it's not pure silk. What's haram or prohibited as mentioned in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim is silk, which is from the silk worm, which is very, very expensive. So nowadays it's mainly synthetic silk. So if it's synthetic silk, that is fine. Just check on the label and there'll be no issues with synthetic silk.
