Is there a reason why men aren't allowed to use silk bedsheets but women can?

Silk is one of the items that is preserved for females in particular in gender so that's why it's not permissible for males in this life. Nowadays most silk is actually synthetic silk so if it's synthetic silk that's fine. It's silk from the silkworm that's the prohibited silk.
