What happens in barzaq?

The barzakh refers to the life in the grave, meaning the time where we are asked our three questions: who is your lord, what is your religion, who's the prophet that was sent to you. Anything from that onwards essentially, all that time that we spend in the grave, that is known as the life of the barzakh. And we know that at various different orations in terms of what will happen in the grave, so we will be shown a window will be opened and it will show the hellfire jahannam. We said that if you were from the people of johannam this would have been your place. To protect us from this. And then for those people of jannah, may Allah make us amongst them, then their graves will be widened and it will be filled with light and it will be jannah, a garden, a place from the places of jannah. So I have a longer lecture series inshallah I will upload it, but that essentially in summary is what happens in the grave until the day of judgment when we are then resurrected.
