Can you recite the Qur'an for the deceased?

recitationdeceasedrewardmadhhabssadaqahfiqh rulings
There are two different views: the Hanbali and Hanafi schools allow it, while the Shafi'i and Maliki schools do not. recitation, deceased, reward, madhhabs, sadaqah, fiqh rulings https://www.youtube.com/shorts/DuobMO7m3nU
So in the Hanbali and Hanafi Madhhabs, yes, it's allowed to recite Qur'an with a reward going to the deceased because it's considered to be a form of Sadaqah. In the Shafi'i and Maliki Madhhabs, it's not considered to be a form of Sadaqah, so it would not be allowed, so there are two different views on this issue.
