How can I be better at dua after salah?
Three things for you to do when you make dua. Number one, start by praising Allah. Just say Alhamdulillah. That's all you need to do. If you want to, great, but say Alhamdulillah, praise Allah. Number two, praise the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Say Allahumma salli ala Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. That's all you need to say. Again, if you want to say more, no problem. Number three, thank Allah for what he has given you. Because Allah says that the more you thank him for what he has already given us, for your car, for your house, for your clothes, for your job, Allah says he will give you more. So you thank Allah for the money you have in your bank account, automatically it's a guarantee Allah is going to put more money in your bank account. That's the rahmah, the mercy of ar-rahman ar-rahim, the most merciful. Do those three things and do that after every salah. Even if you don't do anything else, because dua after salah is one of the greatest acts you can do. You've just performed a good deed, meaning the next thing you do, there is a higher possibility, as a scholar say, of that dua being increased, of being accepted. So after you finish your Salah, do those three things.
