Why do some sheiks not allow menstruating women into mosques?

The sheikh explained there are two scholarly views: the majority prohibit it based on a hadith about staying away from prayer areas, while a second view permits it based on a hadith stating a Muslim is never impure. menstruation, mosque, ritual impurity, scholarly views, hadith, permissibility https://www.youtube.com/shorts/cR0dGYJyg-M
So there are two views on this. Let me explain both. The first one is the view of the majority of scholars which state that it's not permissible for a female who's on her menstrual cycle to stay in the masjid. Why? Because the Prophet ﷺ in one hadith, a hadith in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, he said that on Eid day everybody should come out to the pray area apart from those who are on their menstrual cycle or in the state of junabah and they should be away from the prayer area. So that's one reasoning behind why the majority of scholars they say it's not permissible. There is a second view and that's based on another hadith for example whereby Abu Hurairah, he met the Prophet ﷺ on the streets of Medina one day and he missed the actual class or what the Prophet ﷺ was teaching in the masjid. And so the Prophet ﷺ noticed this and he said where were you Abu Hurairah? And Abu Hurairah said that I was in a state of ritual impurity and I went home to take a ghusl before I came to the masjid. And the Prophet ﷺ said that a Muslim is never impure and so that would imply that it is permissible to be in the masjid.
