Is it a must to not cut nails and hair for qurbani?

qurbanisacrificehairnailshanbalihadith
The majority of scholars say it is disliked but not haram to cut hair or nails when offering a sacrifice, while the Hanbali school considers it specifically haram, based on different interpretations of authentic hadiths. qurbani, sacrifice, hair, nails, hanbali, hadith https://www.youtube.com/shorts/vi10iyLGkQc
It's not haram to cut your nails or cut your hair if you're offering a sacrifice according to the majority of scholars. It's disliked and recommended to avoid it, but it's not specifically haram. In the Hanbali mathhab, however, specifically it is haram. Now why are there these two views? This difference of opinion: there are two hadith both in Sahih Muslim. The first hadith the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said one should refrain from cutting hair and nails if you're offering a sacrifice, so the Hanbali mathhab they give priority to this hadith. The second hadith also in Sahih Muslim narrator says that the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam when he was in Medina and he was offering a sacrifice he would do everything he normally does, meaning it would imply he would cut his hair and his nails, and so the majority of scholars they give preference to this hadith. Both hadith are authentic. And in the Hanbali mathhab the other reason they give is that the reason for not cutting your hair and nails is to imitate those people that are in Hajj and performing Hajj. However the majority of scholars reply and say well if we're imitating them then marital relations for example would also be haram because it is haram to cut your hair and nails when you're in Ihram for Hajj but that's not haram. So that's where our two views.
