Is it a must to not cut nail/hair for Qurbani?

According to the majority of scholars, it's not actually haram specifically to cut your hair or nails if you are offering a korbani or a sacrifice. They say it's disliked, they say it's recommended to avoid it but not specifically haram. In the Hanbali madhab, however, it is specifically obligatory to refrain from cutting your hair or nails. Now, why the difference of opinion is based on two hadith as such mainly, both in Sahih Muslim. The first hadith, the Prophet said if you're offering a sacrifice then refrain from cutting your hair or nails. So the Hanbali madhab, they give preference to this particular hadith. The second hadith narrated by Aisha also in Sahih Muslim says that when the Prophet was in Medina and he was offering a sacrifice, he did everything he would normally do, meaning he would cut his nails and cut his hair. So the majority of scholars give preference to this particular hadith. And they also say the reasoning for avoiding cutting one's hair and nails is to imitate and be similar to those who are hajj who are also not cutting their hair or nails. And they say if it was obligatory, it would also be obligatory to avoid marital relations as such but that's not known to be obligatory. That's why there are two views.
