At which week is abortion allowed in Islam?

The prophet told us in a hadith in sahih muslim that the soul is blown into the baby at 120 days. This doesn't mean that the baby is not alive of course the baby is alive however islamically the soul is not blown in until 120 days. So what this means is that after 120 days it's considered to be a living human as such and therefore there's no fit council in the world generally speaking that permits anything after 120 days because it's a living human. And just as it wouldn't be permissible to kill an adult human or a child human the same applies after 120 days. Prior to 120 days it needs to be discussed with an individual scholar to go through specific conditions the specific reasoning the background and the context of your particular situation. Certain scholars even limit to 40 days. So that's why we're talking about it in sahih muslim. So that's why it really needs discussion with a scholar.
