Does saying talaaq three times at once count as three divorces?

So according to the majority of scholars, three talaqs in one sitting still does count as three. There is a second view that it counts as one. And for any of these sensitive issues, I always say we cannot give a specific ruling until you've sat down with the individual scholar, gone through the exact context of what exactly was said, what the intention was, how it was said, the meaning behind it and so on before you can have an individual ruling for yourself. Yes, there's a possibility, but in order to navigate whether that would be the ruling, you need to sit down with the individual scholar. Don't just look online and then take a generic opinion. You need to sit down and discuss your particular context to get a specific ruling for yourself.
