Do you need to make up Ramadan fasts before fasting the 6 days of Shawwal?

According to the majority of scholars, you do not need to make up your Ramadan fast before fasting the 6th of Shawwal because Aisha r.a used to complete her missed days of fasting later on in the year. Now, that's the majority of scholars' view. There is the view of the Hanbali Madhab which says that, no, you need to do your fast of Ramadan before the 6 days. That is also a valid view because the Prophet s.a.w. said that whoever fasts Ramadan and then follows up with 6th of Shawwal, that the 6th of Shawwal. So, meaning you do Ramadan first and then the 6th of Shawwal. That's how they interpret it. That's also a valid view. But inshallah, as I mentioned, according to the majority of scholars, it would be permissible to do the 6th of Shawwal first before you do the days of Ramadan.
