Can you make dua (in Arabic) during fard sujood?
A number of scholars say that when we pray salah it's all in Arabic. So if we are to say dua in a different language, in English for example, does this break the salah because it's something foreign in the salah? Some scholars will say yes, other scholars would say no. So what I normally advise is to stay out of the difference of opinion. Act upon the hadith in terms of making dua when you're in sujood, but do it in the sunnah prayers, in the nafil prayers. That way you know that your obligatory prayers, there's no issue with them. You have nothing to worry about, you're out of any difference of opinion, but also you're still acting upon the hadith of the dua being accepted when you make it in sujood.
