Can you make dua in fard salah?

salahduasujoodfardsunnaharabic
The speaker advises making dua in non-Arabic languages only in sunnah and nafil prayers to be safe, as scholars say it may invalidate fard salah. salah, dua, sujood, fard, sunnah, arabic https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XWJ-ksKg6C8
So the Prophet ﷺ said in Sahih Bukhari, 'The closest a person will be to Allah is when they are in sujood. So increasing your dua in sujood.' The issue is that if you're making a dua, let's say in English or French or a different language, many of the scholars say that because it's something foreign to the salah, it's a different language, the salah is in Arabic, it may even break the salah. So what I normally advise is to be on the safer side, make dua in any language that you like, but do it in the sunnah and the nafil prayers. That way, you know, alhamdulillah, you're following prayer, there's nothing to worry about, inshallah will be accepted, and you're still acting upon the hadith of making dua in sujood during prayer.
