So in the Hanbali Madhab, it is permissible for a potential spouse to see you without your hijab on, to see you here. Why? Let me explain. Because according to the majority, it is not permissible. Now, there are various hadiths. There's one in particular, a companion wanted to marry somebody and the Prophet ﷺ said, have you looked at her? And the companion said, no. So the Prophet ﷺ said, unthur ilayha, go back and look at her. Now, what did the Prophet ﷺ mean when he said, look at her?
